Tavaziva Dance is one of Britain's leading national touring dance companies. Based around the choreography and music of its founding artistic director Bawren Tavaziva, it aims to explore new territories in combining the rich and diverse traditional dance forms of Africa within a contemporary Western base. The Company aims to inspire and entertain audiences with a high-energy dance vocabulary, skilled technical dancers, original music and a totally unique perspective on African dance, complementing its performance work with high quality education and community projects, as well as guest commissions by Bawren Tavaziva outside the company's ongoing programme of work.
